for completely forgetting that I have two blogs. I just posted to the other one here, and now i'm updating this one. I mean, I feel like I have a pretty good excuse (taking the bar, moving, ETCETERA) but still, it doesn't make up for the fact that I have been neglectful. And I apologize for that.
Here's what I've been up to: took the bar, moved my stuff to baltimore, flew out to LA, went on a quick bar trip to Vegas, and now i'm staying in Aubrey's mom's house where I have my own room and i get to play with three cute dogs all day. They can be a bit bark-y, but adorable nonetheless. My plan is to stay here FOREVER (ha i wish) while I look for a job, but that's pretty annoying too. more on that later.
I finished watching all of Avatar: the Last Airbender (the animated version), and it is SO GOOD. I didn't watch the M Night Shamalandfkdjdlfkj version because I heard from every single person on the planet that it was the worst movie ever. And now that I've watched the show in its entirety, I'm even more sad that the movie was so bad. Seriously, check it out on netflix instant. SO worth the time.

Update!
.jpg)
I've been really bad about updating about my life, so here is a quick recap to get me back on track:
1) The Blackhawks won the STANLEY CUP!!!! The (literally) hundreds of dollars I spent on beer this playoff season was TOTALLY worth it.
2) I graduated on Saturday! YAY I'm a lawyer. We were hooded (KKK anyone?) and our law school speaker was Martha Nussbaum, who is super into free love and sexual freedom. Her speech literally went: "This speech COULD be about the importance of sexual freedoms...but it won't." There was literally a collective sigh of relief in the CHAPEL where the hooding was held.
3) At the graduation party we held at Aubrey R's apt, I was waiting to fetch my parents from their car when I SAW JONATHAN TOEWS IN THE FLESH. He was on the phone and i just stared and told my mom excitedly but she had no idea who he was nor did she care. His mom saw me flip out though and thought i was cute. no big deal. HI future mother in law! (i'm only 40% kidding) Seriously I kind of forgot I graduate when I saw him. BEST DAY EVER!
4) South Korea beat Greece! Also, did you know that North Korea is in the World Cup? I had...NO idea. I'm a bad Korean.
Um, I think that's it...I ate SO much food when my family was in town and I've been in a food coma for the past day. It feels awesome.

UGH runners
Runners have inconvenienced me twice today. So first of all, I was on the bus home from school when we hit crazy traffic, and then I saw all these people milling around wearing running gear and team shirts with numbers and shit. After a little googling when I got home, I realized it was the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge today. The fact that it raises money for charities does little to make me feel better about having to sit on the bus for 30 minutes longer than necessary.
THEN when I was walking home from the train, I was listening to some sweet jams on my ipod and walking along like a normal person, swinging my arm slightly when a jogger literally ran crotch-first INTO my hand as he tried to pass me. My reaction: "whoops THAT's not supposed to be in my hand." needless to say, it was awkward. I think we can all agree that it was definitely not my fault that I basically sexually assaulted a random gentleman in broad daylight.
*Apologies to Lauren and all who are pro-running. You guys are weird. :)

last law class ever.
Life in the law: where we took an entire quarter to come to the conclusion that we can't really define it. We just made a giant loop and discussed hot-button topics! So much fun, but also had some horrifyingly annoying people in it. I'm looking at YOU, girl who looks like the girl in the white stripes.
OMG I'M DONE!
OMG I'M DONE!
I had sex with Jim Morrison at UCLA
I was just at trivia and we WON! We KILLED our nemesis, the Oscar Wildcats (I KNOW SO STUPID), by a LOT and they ran away with their tails between their legs. HA. Our prize: a pitcher of beer, a round of shots, and a gift certificate to the bar. Victory beer is so much more delicious than normal beer.
Our team name was "I had sex with Jim Morrison at UCLA" because in the picture round something amazing happened. We had to name the school each pictured celebrity went to, and we had NO idea who the gentleman even was. I was like "is it like morrison or something?" but it wasn't a real suggestion and I was just throwing it out there. Anyway, we knew a lot of the other ones, but we didn't even know who the guy was. Here is the picture they used:

It doesn't look like him at all! At least not the iconic picture of him. Anyway, we just randomly guessed UCLA and it turned out to be RIGHT! We always pick a team name that incorporates either an annoying question that we didn't get, or an amazing feat of totally pulling an answer out of our asses and getting it right. Thus, I had sex with Jim Morrison at UCLA. It's especially funny because every time the guy reads out the winners, he has to be like "And the winner tonight is I had sex with Jim Morrison at UCLA. Blah blah blah, congratulations I had sex with Jim Morrison at UCLA. You can come collect your prize at the bar." [PS The guy who runs trivia is this total cutie who unFORCH is recently engaged, we just learned, but I am holding out hope that one of us marries him. Trivia themed wedding!]
MMMM victory tequila shot. It's making my Korean homework go a LOT faster.

BOOYAH
So I know that outdated phrase from the 90s seems out of place, but I can't help it. The fact that most of my friends are going nuts doing papers while I JUST found out that I don't have to do my 25-page paper for Life in the Law, and instead only have to write another 8 page (aka 6 page with wonky margins) paper for Art Law, is making me feel alive again. Yes I WILL renew my lease on life THANKYOUverymuch.
Also, the graduation ceremony for law school is called "hooding." Doesn't that sound like some sort of creepy KKK initiation ceremony?
